BTCC 2009 at CroftTurkington double as Giovanardi wins race three

BTCC 2009 at Croft Colin Turkington took his second consecutive double victory of the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Croft. The Team RAC driver now heads the championship after leading home teammate Stephen Jelley in each of the first two races. The rain fell heavily for race three and Fabrizio Giovanardi was masterful en route to victory in the wet conditions. Colin Turkington now leads the championship from Matt Neal as the BTCC heads into its summer break.
