Plenty going on!

Knockhill - always dramatic

It’s been a while since my last update and it’s been pretty eventful during that time. We went to Snetterton after the long summer break and now we’re at Knockhill in Scotland.

Snetterton didn’t quite go to plan. We struggled on Saturday and the problem with that is that it puts you on the back foot for race day. I made a good start to the first race getting up to 10^th from 14^th, but I got spun around and the damage from that put me out of the race. That meant I started race two from the back.

Doing it the hard way

I’m pretty pleased with sixth place in qualifying, even if I had to do it twice! I was sixth when I lost my times for failing the ride height check and I then went back out again and got back up to seventh, which became sixth when Giovanardi was thrown out.

Heading to Donington

Hello again! A quick update ahead of the Donington weekend…

On the Monday after Thruxton, I flew out to Majorca for a bit of a ‘training camp’. It was a cycling holiday with a few mates, but it was good to get away for a few days.

It was just a few days though, and it seems to have been non-stop since then.

Hitting the limit

Whenever we come here, I seem to be able to do a 48.9. We just cannot get past that at the moment, but the Airwaves BMW is really fantastic. I feel we can race a lot better than the Vauxhalls. I think that come the end of the race, we’ll be in much better condition than them.
