Leading at Brands Hatch

Back to Brands Hatch again then! The championship started at Brands and it’s going to end at Brands. It’s a local track for me and it has generally been good to me at the end of recent seasons, so I would really like to go out on a high again this year.

I’d like to think we can make it into the top five in qualifying, finish there or thereabouts in race one and then go on to get a podium or a win in race two or three. What I don’t want to do is end up in a situation where I’m compromised because I end up getting involved with Colin or Fabrizio. I hope I can qualify towards the front and let all that happen behind me.

Knockhill - always dramatic

It’s been a while since my last update and it’s been pretty eventful during that time. We went to Snetterton after the long summer break and now we’re at Knockhill in Scotland.

Snetterton didn’t quite go to plan. We struggled on Saturday and the problem with that is that it puts you on the back foot for race day. I made a good start to the first race getting up to 10^th from 14^th, but I got spun around and the damage from that put me out of the race. That meant I started race two from the back.
