Dan Eaves ahead of racing at Croft

Sun 14th June 2009 So far, it’s all going to plan this weekend. But it’s fair to say that up to now this season has been pretty manic. I knew it wouldn’t come easy for a new car – we didn’t expect to win races from the start, but we also didn’t think it would be quite this bad. We just need to keep our chin up and keep trying.

The car is good this weekend, but I never managed to make the best of it in qualifying. My best time was set early in the session and people were going quicker later on, but I got caught in traffic every time I tried to get in a quick lap. I’m hoping to make a good start and stay out of trouble and then I just have to hope that race three gets me up the front.
