Jason Plato after FP2 at Knockhill

Sat 15th August 2009 We’ve still got a better balance to find and better front grip to find. The nature of this circuit means that every opportunity you have to put in a quick lap, you have to seize. It’s so tight and twisty that the traffic makes it really difficult.

Towards the end of the session we put a new set of slicks on and we completely lost the balance of the car. We did about five laps on them and I think it was only the last two that we were quick again. Once again the Chevrolet is a quick car though.

I’m off for a cup of tea now. The team have let me down this weekend. They’ve only got Bourbon biscuits this weekend and I’m a Hob Nob man…
