Saturday 15 August 2009 It’s been a good day. We were quick in practice and we’ve managed to qualify third for tomorrow. We’re the quickest BMW in qualifying, and we’ve never achieved that so far this year. Hopefully we can get three good scores tomorrow.

Saturday 15 August 2009 The car felt pretty good but I made a bit of a mistake and I think that bent the rear suspension. We were struggling for rear tyre temperature and in the end that was the best we could do.

Saturday 15 August 2009 It was a pretty mega effort to get that close to the Chevy. It’s great for the team. I just hope we can have a cracking run tomorrow. I’m quite relaxed really. Jonny [Adam]’s gone well and I’m sure he’ll be very close tomorrow. It all bodes well for some very good racing.

Saturday 15 August 2009 This morning was the first time I’ve driven the SEAT Leon in the wet. The car went quick at the start of the session when it was wet. It was quick in the middle when it was half and half, and then it was quick at the end when it was drier. We just have to hope we can be quick this afternoon and we’ll see how we can qualify.

Saturday 15 August 2009 We’ve still got a better balance to find and better front grip to find. The nature of this circuit means that every opportunity you have to put in a quick lap, you have to seize. It’s so tight and twisty that the traffic makes it really difficult.

Tuesday 28 July 2009 It will be really hard and tough for me today I think. I start 13th and that’s not the best position, but last year I started 12th and I won a race, so we’ll have to see.
