New Independent BTCC Team Launches!

Carly Motors BTCC teamFriday 31 October saw the unveiling of an exciting new Independent BTCC team at Brands Hatch. The Carly Motors team, to be sponsored by Schnitzer Sportscars will enter two ETCC-spec BMWs in the 2004 British Touring Car Championship. The team is to be operated by Carly Motors from Holland and is endorsed by BMW Motorsport in Germany. Driving the cars will be the talented pairing of Tom Ferrier and James Hanson ? both of whom have previously competed for BMW in the European Touring Car Championship.

Feature - Team PSP Diary

Team Petronas Syntium ProtonWhilst the off-season is a typically quiet period, the work of teams and drivers continues as preparations for next season get in to full swing. Team PSP are the first works outfit to confirm their entry for 2004, with Malaysian driver Fariqe Hairuman in the first seat. As part of a unique link-up, we will be following closely the progress of both the the team and Fariqe over the coming months. Our 'Team PSP Diary' starts with an introduction to Fariqe and a look at his recent test session at Brands Hatch. There will be regular updates, so be sure to check back soon!

Feature - Collard Racing - 2003 Hilton Independents Cup Champions

Collard celebratesAfter a season full of highs and lows, the hard work finally paid off for Rob Collard and the Collard Racing team, when the former hot-rod champion was crowned 2003 Hilton Independents Cup Champion at Oulton Park. Having followed the team's progress throughout the year, we take a look at how Collard & co. fought off the consistent Honda of James Kaye and a late charge from Carl Breeze to take a well deserved victory in the highly competitive Independents Cup.

Victory at Snetterton for O'NeillVX Racing's Paul O'Neill took an emotional first victory of the season in round 13 at Snetterton. Following the last corner despair back at Brands Hatch, O'Neill has produced no fewer than five 3rd place finishes this season. At Snetterton he went that little bit better.
