This time last year, I recall looking at the list of BTC-P entries and seeing the many prestigious drivers I was competing against in my class. I could have picked at least ten race winners from it. All I wanted to do was break into that top ten and anything else would have been a bonus. By the end of the season, I’d had a pole position, three podium places and finished 8th in the Production Class. There were highs and there were lows but the highs far outweighed the lows last season. I’d achieved everything I wanted to and more. All in all, it was a very successful year.

This year, I’ve been lucky enough to land a drive with Triple Eight Engineering in Team Egg Sport alongside experienced driver, Matt Neal. It’s a dream come true. Not only do I have the wisdom of Matt Neal but I also have Vauxhall drivers, Yvan Muller and James Thompson at hand with good advice as well. I’m learning from the best and that’s reassuring, as I know that it’s going to be a steep learning curve. I have settled in with the Banbury based team and I am surrounded by professionals who are all 100% behind me. It’s all about working as a team for me this year although I have my sights set on my own personal goals this season. I want to gain as much experience as I can, finish in the top eight and to visit the podium at some point during the season!
