| Independent legend and Team Dynamics star, Matt Neal, has signed to drive for the Peugeot works team
in the BTCC in 2001. The move sees Neal leave the independent team, run by his father, that he has driven
for throughout his BTCC career. Neal will be joined at Peugeot by National Saloon youngster Dan Eaves, and
veteran BMW racer Steve Soper. The news was announced at a press conference held by BMP late on Thursday 14th Dec.
This announcement follows much speculation as to what Matt Neal would be doing in 2001 - but it doesn't however
answer the question of what Team Dynamics will be doing. The most successful ever independent BTCC team has been
built around Neal, but is now set to lose its centre-piece. The team is much adored in the BTCC arena as a result
of the excitement they bring to each event and will surely be missed if there is noe entry from them next year. |
