Vauxhall switch engine supplier

Vauxhall's Astra Coupe engines will be supplied by French company "Sodemo", and not by "Spiess", who have worked on the Vectra engine in recent years. The move follows concerns that Spiess would be too involved with Opel's DTM project to devote the time needed to the BTCC challenger. Sodemo have recently worked with both Renault and Ford in the BTCC.
