No Menu in 2001

Alain Menu's hopes of securing a BTCC drive with a works team for this year's championship look to have been scuppered. Menu had been in talks with Triple Eight about filling the fourth Astra Coupe seat, but it would seem that the team could not meet the Swiss star's pay demands.
