| Plato tops Thruxton Test
The teams took to Thruxton in Hampshire today (Friday), for an official test session ahead of rounds three and four of the championship,
to be held there in just over two weeks time. There were no real surprises in terms of the fastest times of the day,
with Jason Plato topping the list, ahead of Vauxhall team mate Yvan Muller. Steve Soper was fifth in the Peugeot
Coupe, just over two seconds slower than Plato, followed by Dan Eaves. Matt Neal did not take to the track during the session.
The JSM team were at the track, but spent considerable time in the garage, with much work still needed to
bring the 147 up to scratch. Disappointingly ABG Motorsport did not attend with their Lexus IS200, but
will be working hard to have the car ready for rounds three and four.
In the Production class, Roger Moen was fastest, ahead of Rob Collard in his TCR Clio. James Kaye was third,
with Simon Harrison fourth in the second HTML 306. Paul O'Neill completed the top five.
