Peugeot Sport driver Dan Eaves suffered bad luck during the qualifying session at Knockhill. Twenty minutes in to the session, his Peugeot Coupe slowed out of Taylor's Hairpin, before catching light in a dramatic way. Eaves managed to pull off to the side of track shortly before the pit lane entrance, and was assisted by marshals who swiftly put out the fire.
