Following investigations in to Round 16 of the Championship, TOCA official confirmed this morning that Jason Plato gained an unfair advantage when his car made contact with Phil Bennett's Team Egg Sport Astra Coupe.

As a result, Plato has incurred a 30 second time penalty. The provisional result posted after the Feature Race has subsequently ben amended. Yvan Muller is promoted to second place, with Plato in third.

Both drivers have an equal points tally of 205. However, Muller now leads the Championship by virtue of one more win (Muller 7 wins, Plato 6 wins).
