O'Neill in pole position
with Egg (24/01/2002)
Egg has contracted rising star Paul O’Neill to drive in this year’s British touring Cars Championship. For the second year running Egg will be partnering with Triple Eight Race Engineering, the team responsible for the works Vauxhall Astra Coupes.
Paul, a relative new-comer to the racing circuit started his motorsport career in 1999 gaining valuable track experience in the MGF cup. He raced in the BTCC for the first time in 2001 finishing eighth in the drivers' championship, having taken one pole position and three podium finishes. Paul will join Matt Neal who also recently signed for Egg Sport.
