Team PETRONAS Syntium Proton has made two key appointments in the run-up to its inaugural season in the British Touring Car Manufacturer’s Championship. Trevor Griffiths is Team PSP’s Chief Mechanic and Brian Johnson will become David Leslie’s race engineer.

As the Principal of TJ Motorsport, Trevor Griffiths has been heavily involved in ASCAR for the last two years. Prior to that, he ran two race winning cars in the Vectra Challenge.

Widely experienced in sports car and open wheel racing, Brian Johnson recently secured major successes for Carlin Motorsport in the Porsche Supercup.
