Easter Monday's meeting at Brands Hatch will see Germany's Norman Simon behind the wheel of the second Edenbridge Racing BMW.

Team Boss Peter Briggs announced that the experienced Norman Simon will take the wheel of the second Edenbridge Racing BMW at Rounds 1&2 at Brands Hatch.

Norman, from Wiesbaden, Germany, was the under 25 European Touring Car Champion in 2001. Like Micheal Schumacher and many others, Norman's career began in karting and he progressed from County standard through to the World Cup in Suzuka Japan. He has raced karts, F3, F3000 single seaters as well as touring cars and has competed in endurance races at Watkins Glen, Le Mans, Atlanta, Daytona and Spa.

Norman is really looking forward to driving with Tom and the Edenbridge Team. He said "The cars have been quick in testing, so team morale is high. Now to the race!"
