17-year old Tom Chilton finished seventh overall at the Macau Guia event on Sunday 18 November. Chilton, piloting one of Edenbridge Racing's Production spec BMW 320i was up against many more experienced drivers, and successfully negotiated the tight circuit to bring the car home safely in both races. He qualified 19th on the grid, and ended the race in 20th position. He enjoyed a more successful run in the second race, eventually finishing in 8th spot. His combined results earned him 7th position overall. Dutch driver Duncan Huisman was victorious in both races, with Nicola Larini and Franz Engstler classified second and third overall.
Other British drivers contesting the races include 2001 BTC Production champion, Simon Harrison, in a Ford Focus, who finished 5th overall. Anthony Davidson in a Honda Civic Type-R was 14th and Richard Meins (Ford Focus) was 18th.
Tim Harvey (Peugeot 307) and James Kaye (Honda Civic Type-R) also took part in the prestigious event.
