22/11/2002 Howell to take part in Charity Day
BTCC driver Gareth Howell will be taking part in a charity fundraising day at Snetterton on Sunday 24th November. Gareth will be aiming to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation and the East Anglia Children’s Hospice.
Team Atomic Kitten driver Gareth will be alongside upto 60 other drivers as they take members of the Public on high-speed laps of the Norfolk circuit. For prices of between £10 and £30 for 3 laps, you can experience the thrill of the fast Revett straight and the g-forces under braking at the Esses and Russell.
This is a rare opportunity for members of the public to participate in such an event with all the proceeds going to 2 worthwhile causes.
The first cars will be on track at 09:00 and will continue until dusk.
Ames MG-Rover of Bury St. Edmunds, who will be supplying Gareth with an MG-ZS 180, will also support the event. During the breaks in sessions Gareth will be taking members of the public on laps in the road going version of the race winning BTCC machine.
It is sure to be a busy day, so arrive early to ensure you get the drive of a lifetime!
