Satellite channel to air BTCC history program
As part of its build up to the 2003 British Touring Car Championship, satellite television channel Motors TV will be screening a 3 hour program entitled 'BTCC Story'. The program is divided in to 3 parts and will cover the years between 1991 and 2002.
The first part of “BTCC STORY” will air on Sunday March the 23rd at 22.00, and will cover the period between 1991-1994. We start in 1991 with the deeply missed Will Hoy, who won the title in this year, to the victory of Italian Gabriele Tarquini, driving an Alfa-Romeo in 1994.
Part 2 and 3 will air on March the 30th at 23.00, and April the 6th at 22.00.
As reported on BTCCPages.com in January (here), Motors TV will carry exclusive LIVE coverage of the BTCC in 2003. BTCC races and all support races will be shown live on race-day on the channel, available free to satellite subscribers in the UK and throughout Europe.
Motors TV is expected to announce further details of its coverage at the media launch of the 2003 series on 2 April.
