Honda Racing’s BTCC drivers Alan Morrison and Tom Chilton will make special guest appearances at the Max Power Show at the NEC in Birmingham on 4-6 July 2003.

Alan and Tom will be attending the show on Saturday 5 July and Sunday 6 July and will be available for interviews, autograph and photo opportunities on the Honda stand (C65 Hall 5).

Honda Racing will display one of the Civic Type Rs, currently being raced in the 2003 championship - also on the Honda stand.

The drivers will arrive at the show fresh from their most successful weekend so far in the 2003 Green Flag MSA BTCC. Alan qualified in pole position for the first race at Rockingham on Sunday 22 June and also put in the fastest-ever lap of the Northamptonshire circuit in a touring car. He went on to finish second after a race-long battle with team-mate and eventual winner Matt Neal.

Tom, who at 18 years-of-age is the youngest driver in the competition, qualified sixth on the grid before going on to score a top ten finish in both races.

There will be a photocall on the Honda stand with Alan Morrison, Tom Chilton and Leilani between 9.25am and 9.35am on Saturday 5 July immediately after the show opening.

Alan Morrison and Tom Chilton will be available for autograph and photo opportunities on the Honda stand (C65 Hall 5) between 11.00am and 12 noon and 2.00pm and 3.00pm on Saturday 5 July and Sunday 6 July.
