Return for HiQ’s BTCC champagne moments
BTCC News | Sun 10th May 2009
After a successful debut season in 2008, BTCC sponsor HiQ is bringing back its champagne moments.

Following each race weekend last year, thousands of spectators logged onto HiQ’s official website, www.hiqonline.co.uk to vote for their star performer from the weekend’s action.
And now they will get the chance to do the same again, once the action has concluded – starting with Donington Park this weekend.
Whether it’s a first place finish or just one particular overtaking manoeuvre that caught the eye, HiQ want fans to get voting for their favorite driver once more.
The man that receives the most plaudits from the round of racing at Donington will be crowned with HiQ’s Champagne Moment award and presented with a magnum of bubbly before the action at Oulton Park on May 31.
One lucky fan who has logged his or her details onto the website will be picked at random to present the prize to the driver and complimentary race tickets will also be provided, along with a grid walk of the track before one of the races.
HiQ’s BTCC marketing manager Geraldine McGovern said: “The first season of our champagne moment initiative was a resounding success and we are now in a position to repeat the activity again.
“The uptake was phenomenal and we have received so much positive feedback. We are now able to invite all fans of the BTCC to get voting again and with such a strong line-up of drivers this year, I’m sure there will be plenty more votes to be cast.”
Fans can vote for their Donington Park champagne moment from Monday May 18 by logging onto www.hiqonline.co.uk.
