Fri 19th March 2010 Team Aon has announced that its pair of Ford Focus will be driven by Tom Chilton and Tom Onslow-Cole in the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship - and the cars will be powered by LPG.

The deal sees Chilton enter his second consecutive season for the Arena Motorsport-run team, while Onslow-Cole gets the chance to contest a full season after making selected outings in 2009.

The team's switch to liquid petroleum gas will see them run a modified version of the Mountune Racing Ford Focus two-litre Duratec engine that they used in the second half of the 2009 BTCC season.

The first prototype engines were collected by Team Aon at the beginning of February and have since undergone a series of successful tests both in the UK and abroad. All tests were completed without encountering any major problems, which allowed Mountune and the team engineers to concentrate on driveability and set up work, refining the entire package prior to the start of the racing season.

LPG supplier Calor will be a technical partner to Team Aon in 2010, while Auto Windscreens have also been confirmed as a sponsor.
