Next stop Silverstone for BTCC 2010

Silverline Chevrolet’s Jason Plato leads the championship by 20 points as the series heads into its final third, ahead of Honda Racing Team pair Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden.
Plato will be hoping to build on that lead at Silverstone which is also a home track for his Wellingborough-based Silverline Chevrolet team. But Honda Racing Team driver Neal will be eager to hit back – particularly in front of a sizeable gathering of Honda owners who will be there to celebrate the manufacturer’s ‘Red H’ Type R models of recent years.
The racing on-track at Silverstone will be matched by action in the sky, as Silverstone puts on an impressive air display over the weekend. There will be breathtaking displays from the likes of a WWII Spitfire, the country’s only active Vulcan bomber, Breitling Wingwalkers and the world-famous RAF Red Arrows aerobatics team.
As ever, the BTCC has three races on Sunday (22 August), with the first due underway at 11.35am.
