Jeff Smith in Triple Eight Vectra at Knockhill

Renault Clio Cup racer Jeff Smith will step up to the BTCC this weekend at Knockhill.

Smith, 44, will drive a Triple Eight Vauxhall Vectra, alongside James Nash in a one-off deal for rounds 22, 23 and 24.
The Wellingborough-based driver is currently seventh in the Clio Cup, driving for Team Pyro.
Meanwhile, four drivers will be absent from Knockhill: Arthur Forster and Martin Depper (Forster Motorsport), Lea Wood (Central Group Racing), Martin Johnson (Boulevard Team Racing).
