Motors TV brings live BTCC to NTL cable platform

Mon 22nd August 2005 International motorsport-specialist television channel Motors TV is increasing the reach of its all-day live BTCC broadcasts by joining the NTL cable platform in the United Kingdom.

The Paris-based channel will be available to NTL viewers with a subscription to the Family Package from September 8th, in time for the final two BTCC meetings of the season. The move follows long-running efforts by Motors TV to secure a slot on the UK’s largest cable network.

Currently available to UK viewers via Sky Digital and Wight Cable, the introduction of NTL services will add nearly a million households to Motors TV’s existing subscriber base.

Motors TV will be available on channel 173 on NTL.

Motors TV is currently available in over 50 countries, with almost 15 million-subscriber households and offers the widest available selection of international motorsport coverage.
