The first which will affect todays night race at Silverstone is that the success ballast system will only apply to the top three finishers in a race, rather than the top six. It is hoped this move will help the teams further down the grid who so far haven't been able to break the Vauxhall strangehold.

The second change is that from Mondello Park onwards all four Vauxhall Astra Coupe's will be forced to carry 30kg extra ballast in addition to the success ballast they are already carrying.
