Needell, whose brother, Chris, is Commercial Director of the team, will fill the seat currently being taken up by Simon Graves. Graves' agreed three meetings for the team are now up, and the team look set to use various drivers over the course of the second half of the season.

Graves continues with the team for the meeting at Knockhill, his future after that would seem to be in doubt. Team boss, Mark Lemmer, looks set to make a return to driving for at least two meetings over the rest of the season.

Needell, who has driven in various different forms of motorsport during his career, has never taken part in a Production race before.
