Rounds 17 & 18 - Croft - Qualifying Report
BTC Production Qualifying Report

Qualifying for the Production class at Croft saw Roger Moen set the fastest time to take pole position in his HTML Peugeot 306. Simon Graves continues to impress in the Barwell Honda Accord, taking second position. Second HTML driver Simon Harrison is in third, with Gavin Pyper and James Kaye rounding out the top five. Production class winner from last time out at Snetterton, Gareth Howell, qualified eighth, with GR Motorsport team-mate Mat Jackson behind him in ninth. Neither of the Team B&Q Integra drivers made it on to the track, with both cars suffering from engine problems. However the team do hope to be able make the start of the sprint race on Sunday.

BTC Touring Qualifying Report

The battle of the Astra Coupes in Touring class qualifying ended with Phil Bennett and James Thompson taking pole positions for the sprint and feature races respectively. Bennett will be joined on the front row for the sprint by Vauxhall Motorsport's Jason Plato, and the two look set to continue their battle from Snetterton, as they line up together again in the Feature race, this time filling the second row.

The qualifying session was stopped with 17 minutes remaining, after Phil Bennett took to the gravel at Clervaux and deposited considerable amounts of debris on the track. Behind the Astras, Thomas Erdos qualified in fifth position in the ABG Motorsport Lexus, although the team are disappointed that the car was not more competitive in the afternoon session. The grid for both races is completed by the two Peugeot Coupes, followed by the two JSM Alfa Romeo 147s.
