Rounds 1 & 2 @ Brands Hatch

It's been and gone - the first BTCC meeting of 2001 was regarded by many as a success, desite the relatively small number of Touring class cars taking part. Vauxhall took a cleam sweep of the honours there, but the larger Production class is shaping up to be very competitive, with a range of drivers in with a serious chance of honours. This time last year... The new BTCC season is almost here, but what was happening in the world of BTCC a yera ago? Take a moment to re-live the events that were the start of the 2000 season.
