| Reid on pace as MG hit track running
Anthony Reid impressed by ending both morning practice sessions in fifth position in his MG ZS, competing on the same track as its BTC-Touring rivals for the first time. Reid was only beaten by the dominant Astra Coupes, and outpaced the Peugeots, Alfa Romeos and the Lexus IS200 of Tommy Erdos.
In the first of the two sessions, Reid was 0.982 seconds off of the time of lead Astra Coupe driver, Jason Plato, and just 0.199 behind James Thompson in fourth place. Warren Hughes ended that session in sixth position behind Reid, followed by Erdos, Eaves, Blair and Soper.
The second session saw Reid improve his time, but stay in fifth spot once again, with team mate Hughes further down in this session. The team will be hoping to continue the form in to this afternoon's qualifying sessions, and there's a real possibility that Reid in particular could cause an upset by getting in amongst the Astras.
