The second meeting of the 2001 BTCC done and dusted, and more trophies heading Vauxhall's way, along with
the points that go with them. Despite their continuing monopoly in the Touring class, things are looking good
for later in the season, with the first Lexus now on the track, and both Alfa Romeos up and running.
The Production class also continues to look very strong, not to mention open. There are a whole host
of teams and drivers that look capable of winning the championship. Read about all the weekend's events

Hopefully Thruxton will see additions to the Touring class grid, but the Vauxhalls are
looking very strong - Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Lexus - can anyone catch them?...
