James Thompson: I was pushing the car as hard as I could from start to finish. There was never a situation in the race when myself and Yvan said "I’m happy with second" and "I’m happy with first. Shall we just bring it home?" We were both having a go right until the finish.
David Leslie: I can’t complain about that. We keep getting good results and that’s another step up. Qualifying didn’t go too well, but then we went back to what we knew before the race and the car was much better.
There were a lot of quick cars out there and it was very close at every corner. It was hard work, but a great result for the team. It would just be nice to get a good result in the feature race as well now.
Colin Turkington: I was very disappointed at Mondello especially after qualifying so well there. I didn’t really know how we’d go here at Croft as it is a very different circuit bu we q well and hung in there in the race. The car is great. The MG ZS chassis is great and it does exactly what I want it to do. I’m getting used to it and my confidence is growing.
Norman Simon: It was a very hard race. We didn’t expect to do well here. The track does not suit the car and it’s a nice surprise to win. I got a good start and for four laps I was very quick. Pyper had a problem in front of me, and then Kaye had gearbox trouble. He was behind me but I couldn’t pull away. It was good to win the race though.
