Team PSP gears up for race debut

Team PSP’s last test before their debut in BTCC was ‘useful’, according to driver David Leslie. The one-day single-car test programme at Donington enabled the team to verify the race setup and carry out some development work.

“Although we didn’t do many laps, the track time was very productive,” said David Leslie. “We sorted out some corner entry and turn-in issues. I think we’re in pretty good shape for our first race at Brands this weekend – the pace is hotting up.”

David Wong, Team Principal, Team PSP said: “This test proved how valuable David’s input is as a test driver. He’s quick to home in on areas to investigate and it’s good to discover that the car responds well to set-up changes. At every test we’re learning a lot and uncovering more opportunities to improve.”

The two race cars are being prepared at Team PSP’s new workshops in Dereham, Norfolk, before the team leaves for the first race at Brands Hatch this weekend (Saturday 30 March – Monday 1 April).
