Team Varta driver Tom Boardman has been stripped of his 3rd position in today's second race at Rockingham. The decision was made by the BTCC stewards after reviewing evidence of the clash between Boardman and Edenbridge Racing's Michael Bentwood, which saw the BMW driver spun in to the wall and out of the race.

On top of the disqualification, Boardman has also been fined and had his license endorsed.
