Team PSP is raring to go once again after the mid-season break since the frustration of Mondello Park in early June. The team has honed their PETRONAS-backed Proton Impian racers to make sure their drivers can make the most of every minute on track at the fast and exciting Yorkshire circuit.
Fariqe Hairuman said: "I’m looking forward to getting back into the thick of the competition. I enjoyed my first laps in testing at Croft and can’t wait to get more racing miles under my belt.”
Shaun Watson Smith said: “I’m confident that we will be in the best shape yet with everything we have learned about the chassis so far this year. I’m determined to nail down some results which reflect the potential of the car and I’m very motivated to make the most of it during the second half of the season.”
Mike Carroll, Chief Engineer said: “The best pre-season test we had was at Croft while our last outing at Mondello provided us with our best qualifying performance of the year to date. The plan is to achieve a similar qualifying performance to that achieved at Mondello and then to capitalize better in the races than we were able to in Ireland!”
David Wong, Team Principal said: "We’ve come close to podium finishes this season with competitive race lap times while running with the leaders. We’ve run well at Croft in the past so I’m confident we’ll put on a good show here.”
