Team PSP’s two drivers will face a unique challenge at Knockhill for the next BTCC race weekend – neither driver has ever driven the circuit in a competition car. However, the team is confident that both will quickly find the racing line north of the border and put their Petronas-backed racers into contention.
Fariqe Hairuman said: "I know Knockhill is a great circuit that everyone enjoys. I’m looking forward to another fast learning experience on this short and twisty circuit.”
Shaun Watson Smith said: “Knockhill will be tough as it is the only circuit I won't have done any laps or testing at all, except in a road car, so it will take a bit longer to adjust. Having said that, I had some expert tuition on the lines last week and am really excited about driving my racecar round this awesome circuit.”
Mike Carroll, Chief Engineer said: “Knockhill is the one circuit we have not run this year's racer on, so it will be interesting to see how we get on there.”
David Wong, Team Principal said: "We’re delighted to be going back to Knockhill again. I hope the weather’s better this time…”
