Matt Neal took a lights to flag victory in the first race of the day at Brands Hatch, before Jason Plato took his sixth win of the year in race two. The Seat Sport UK driver looked set to win race three as well, but a safety car period in the closing stages of the race brought about a one-lap sprint to the finish, which saw Plato's teammate Huff take his maiden BTCC victory.
