Nick Leason had a frustrating weekend with high's and low's throughout in his second outing in The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Leason had high hopes and the potential of getting a top ten finish in only his second meeting at his home track at Silverstone. Unfortunately Leason was blighted by gearbox problems and then a wheel hub failure in race three put an end to his weekend.

Although disappointed Leason was still upbeat by his pace in race two with low 102's and only .8 seconds off Colin Turkington's through the speed traps.

"I think the only positive thing which came out of this weekend was seeing the pace we had when we got it all together, it's good to see the car is capable which shows we can be up there with the best...We just got to make sure we are ready from the start and now just need to get more miles in the car for our preparation for next year."
