BTC Racing is hoping to build on the experience they had at their first race of the 2007 season of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Chris Stockton:
"We had an extrememly positive start to the season. We were very excited to finish 10th in the second race and, despite being punted off in the third race, we came away from Brands Hatch with a very positive vision of where we want to be for forthcoming races. The team is hoping to find even more time out of the car in the next races and I am confident that we will build on our experience and move ourselves further up the grid throughout the season."
"Rockingham is very different from Brands, with the sharp bend before the long straight in front of those huge grandstands and I am really looking forward to racing at such an exciting circuit. I would be more than happy to get another top 10 finish and I don’t think that is too unrealistic."
Nick Leason
"I had a mixed weekend at Brands, with a good move up the grid after race 1, but then the disappointment of engine trouble preventing me racing in race 2 and 3. I know that the cars have made further improvements during the time between races so I am looking forward to a full weekend of racing on this fantastic circuit at Rockingham."
"Brands Hatch was always going to be a huge learning curve for me as I hadn’t turned a wheel in the car before that weekend. The Rockingham weekend will give me a much better feel for the car and I am looking forward to making steps up the grid. Rockingham is my local track and it is great to be back racing at a track that is not only local to me, but is also one of the UK’s best facilities."
