|After two seasons with the Peugeot Coupe, Vic Lee Racing switches to the smaller 307 model in 2003. Once again racing under the 'Team Halfords' banner, the team fields a car each for Carl Breeze and Dan Eaves. In what was a late deal, Team Halfords look set to be strong competitors, with a car designed by former F1 designer, Sergio Rinland.
Team Halfords team principal and managing director, Vic Lee, has been involved in the motorsport industry for over 30 years, enjoying much success on the international racing scene. Vic first entered the BTCC as a privateer team in 1990, finishing 3rd overall. The following season, 1991, saw the team claim overall BTCC honours with Will Hoy, a feat they repeated as the works BMW team with Tim Harvey in 1992. More recently, the team enjoyed a successful spell running Peugeots in the National Saloon Car Championship, before entering the Peugeot Coupes as a works entry in the BTCC in 2001.
