| The MG-Rover/West Surrey Racing link-up continues for a second full season in 2003 with the team looking to build on the success which saw both Reid and Hughes take race victories last season. The pair are joined by former Team Atomic Kitten driver, Colin Turkington, who is sure to keep the more experienced drivers very much on their toes.
West Surrey Racing was founded in 1981 and has developed a winning pedigree since this time. The team dominated F3 in the 1980s, helping drivers including Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Rubens Barrichello on their way to F1. The team first entered the BTCC with Ford in 1996, before teaming up with Honda, finishing second in the manufacturers championship in 1999 and 2000.
