Following a year which saw they Telford based team win both the NSCC Manufacturers and Drivers Championship in 1999, GR Motorsport went on to design, engineer and produce the first ever Ford Focus Touring Circuit Car, finishing third in the Manufacturers Championship. They also competed and finished third in the coveted Macau Touring Car Production Race.
